Broadus Residence Hall Assistant At CMU

2017 Aug 14

Central Methodist University student Josh Broadus, from Columbia, Mo., has been named a CMU residence hall assistant for the 2017-18 academic year.

Among the first students to return to campus this fall were the 22 residence hall assistants. By the time they get settled in, other students will have begun to arrive at the various resident halls.

The residence assistants are first in line to assist new and returning students with their needs while living on campus. They help others work out personal, physical, emotional, and safety issues. They report to a resident director of their individual halls, according to Brad Dixon, associate dean of students and supervisor of the CMU residence hall program.

Broadus has been assigned to McMurry Hall, an upper-class co-ed facility.

He is a junior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice.
