Falls New CMU Student Ambassador

2017 Feb 6

Central Methodist University student Quiz Falls, from Marshall, Mo., has been selected as a new member of the Student Ambassadors at CMU, a program run by the Admission Office.

As a new ambassador, Falls will serve as a guide around the campus for students interested in coming to CMU.

Student ambassadors are chosen as diplomats who represent Central to prospective students and their parents. Faculty and staff who believe a student possesses skills of leadership often refer that student for the opportunity to become an ambassador, according to admissions counselor Dakota Gladbach.

"We look for bright, enthusiastic, proud, and honest people to join our program," Gladbach said. "Visiting families put their trust into these students, and so does CMU."

Ambassadors provide prospective students and their families an overall understanding of how the campus operates, offering them information about student experiences at CMU and answering their questions.

Falls is a freshman pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Education and Music Education degree at CMU. He began his new responsibilities as an ambassador at the beginning of the spring semester.
