Flagg Recognized At CMU's Division Of Science, Math, And Computer Science Honor Awards

Central Methodist University student Crystal Flagg, from Erie, Pa., was recently recognized for an extraordinary academic achievement in the CMU Division of Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

On Tuesday, April 17, 17 students and one faculty member were recognized during the division's Honor Awards, held on CMU's Fayette campus. Excellence was noted in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and physics. Four division awards also were presented.

Flagg was one of the 17 students recognized, and was presented the Jeff Wilcox "Raising the Bar Award," which is a $250 cash reward presented to a student leader who excels academically.

Flagg is a senior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at CMU.
