Foland Become Eagle Radio Co-Manager

2016 Apr 28

As the current academic year winds down for Central Methodist University, new leadership has been selected for its student-run radio station for 2016-2017.

Nick Ruffy, senior communications major from Lake Ozark, and Jordan Ayers, senior communications major from Boonville, the 2015-16 station managers for KCMU Eagle Radio, have announced their replacements for the next school year.

Nicholas Foland, a junior communications major from Fayette; Brett Knese, a junior communications major from High Ridge; Zoey Glasgow, a sophomore communications major from Moberly; and Kristen Just, a sophomore communications major from Viera, Fla. will be taking the helm for the online campus radio station starting next August.

"I am very excited about the 2016-2017 Eagle Radio directors," said Dr. Kristin Cherry, the advisor for the station. "Moving from a leadership staff of two students to four is evidence of the significant growth and improvement at Eagle Radio.

"With four station directors we will be better able to manage the staff, promote the station, serve the campus community, and undertake some new projects," Cherry said. "They are all very creative and have some wonderful ideas to facilitate the station growth. I look forward to working with them and seeing the direction they plan to take the station."

KCMU Eagle Radio is CMU's online, non-profit campus radio station, staffed by students of all majors and interests who want to participate.
