Foland Named Cast Member For 'Our Town'

Central Methodist University student Nickie Foland, from Fayette, has been chosen as a cast member for the first CMU theatre production to kick off the 2016-17 academic year. 'Our Town' was described by Edward Albee as "the greatest American play ever written." The story follows the small town of Grover's Corners through three acts: 'Daily Life,' 'Love and Marriage,' and 'Death and Eternity.' Show dates are Thursday, Oct. 6 at 4:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7-8, at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1:30 p.m. All shows will be performed at the Little Theatre on CMU's campus. Ticket prices are $8 for general admission, $5 for CMU faculty and staff, $2 for seniors, children and non-CMU students, and free for CMU students. Foland is a senior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies degree at CMU.
