Gerke Recognized for Fine and Performing Arts Achievement at CMU

The robust cultural arts scene at Central Methodist University was highlighted on Sunday, May 3 during CMU's annual Fine Arts Celebration.

Awards for excellence in music and theatre during the 2014-15 performance season were presented during the banquet and ceremony, according to Dr. Dori Waggoner, chair of CMU's division of Fine and Performing Arts.

Levi Gerke earned the Mike Magyar Fine Arts-Leadership Annual Award and the Academic Achievement Award.

Gerke is a Music major from Pilot Grove.
