Glasgow Recognized By Missouri Broadcast Educators Association

Central Methodist University student Zoey Glasgow, from Moberly, Mo., was awarded in a statewide competition by the Missouri Broadcast Educators Association.

MBEA is an affiliate of the Missouri Broadcast Association, and includes 13 member colleges and universities in the state. It sponsors a Student Media contest annually.

CMU broadcasters claimed honorable mention in three separate categories, according to Dr. Kristin Cherry, associate professor of communication and faculty sponsor of Eagle Radio.

Glasgow garnered honorable mention in the News Show category for her part in "This Week at CMU," a weekly news show that airs on several area stations, as well.

She is a senior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies degree at CMU.
