Glore on Champion Flag Football Team

Mariah Glore is a member of the women's flag football team at Central Methodist University.

The team won the Missouri state flag football title in November, according to Mike Rambo, CMU assistant coordinator of student activities and head coach of the team. This qualified the team to the regional tournament of the National Intramural-Recreation Sports Association.

Hosted by the University of Southern Mississippi, the team advanced to the semifinals and finished fourth. The team competed against squads from Southern University (La.), the University of South Florida, Florida A&M University, and the University of Montevallo (Ala.).

"This group made me so proud, not only did they have fun but no matter the situation they were always positive and gave it their all," Rambo said.

Glore is a sophomore middle school math pre-education major from Mineral Point.
