Hanvey Awarded In Division Of Fine And Performing Arts At CMU

Central Methodist University student Katelyn Hanvey, from Centralia, Mo., was recently awarded the Sigma Alpha Iota Collegiate Honor Award, the Sigma Alpha Iota Scholastic Award, the Raney Winter NafME-C Award, the Hickman Award for Music, the Prof. Paul A. Montemurro Award, and the Keith House Band Fellow Award through CMU's Division of Fine and Performing Arts.

Together, the music and theatre departments gave out nearly 50 awards for outstanding performances and accomplishments for the 2017-18 school year. Award winners were honored on Sunday evening, May 7.

Hanvey is a senior music education major at CMU.
