Hanvey performs with CMU Concert Band

The Central Methodist University concert band will perform it's final concert of the spring semester on Sunday, May 8 at 4 p.m. in Linn Memorial Church on the Fayette campus of CMU.

Katelyn Hanvey, a junior music education major from Centralia, is part of a trumpet trio during "Bugler's Holiday" by Leroy Anderson.

The band is conducted by Roy "Skip" Vandelicht (CMU class of 1977), associate professor of music and head of the band program. A special mark of this concert is a song named "Eagles" that was written for the CMU band by music composer Raymond Helble of Lebanon, Mo. This will be its world premiere.
