Hudelson Honored With Award At CMU Convocation

Central Methodist University student Alexandra Hudelson, from Old Monroe, Mo., was honored with an academic award during CMU's Opening Convocation ceremony, which took place on Thursday, Aug. 24 at CMU's main campus in Fayette.

This event welcomes all students, especially new freshmen, to campus. It also honors several students and a professor who have shown outstanding work from the previous year.

Hudelson was awarded the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Outstanding Freshman Leadership Award. It is presented to an outstanding student who demonstrates campus leadership. Recipients are nominated by the faculty and selected by the members of ODK. Hudelson has picked up enough hours to jump from a freshman to a junior at CMU and is consistently on the honor roll.

Hudelson, a junior, is an accounting major at CMU.
