Hustead Earns Athletic Honors at CMU

Deryanne Hustead earned the Dr. James M Luetjen Award at Central Methodist University. This award is in honor of the former Athletic Director and is given to the junior athlete with the highest GPA.

Hustead was also recognized for her leadership as captain of the spirit squad. She was one of over 140 student-athletes to be recognized at the annual CMU athletics banquet for their achievements during the year.

Hustead is a senior English major from Edina.

CMU offers 14 different athletic teams and is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. For more information about CMU athletics please visit the website.
