Johnson Receives Award at CMU Convocation

Parker Johnson, a sophomore Computer Science major from Richmond, was honored with the E.E. Rich Award, given to a sophomore student based on outstanding scholastic achievement and leadership.

CMU President Dr. Roger Drake presided over the ceremony this past Thursday (Aug. 21) in the newly-refurbished Linn Memorial United Methodist Church on the CMU campus. Music provided by CMU's Concert Band and greetings from student, faculty and administrative leadership were among the highlights. President Drake also presented five awards to four students, based on their achievements as new CMU students during 2013-14.
