Lewis Recognized By CMU As Outstanding Art Student

Central Methodist University student Mikaela Lewis, from Harrisburg, Mo., was honored during an award ceremony held by CMU's Department of Fine and Performing Arts on Sunday, May 6.

The Department hosts the award ceremony every spring - honoring outstanding students in the areas of music and theatre.

Lewis won the Luther T. Spayde Award, and the Helen Puckett Thogmorton Award for Excellence in Music.

Lewis is a senior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in music at CMU.
