Lewis Takes Third Place in CMU Inscape Magazine

Dylan Lewis was featured in the 41st edition of Inscape, the magazine of the arts at Central Methodist University.

Lewis took third place in the fiction category for his short story titled "Oh My Beautiful Boyfriend." Other works by Lewis being published include the poems "Back into the Dark," "The Razor's Edge," "Follow Me," and "Stuck in the Past." Lewis' play, "Forget That Ever Happened," is also being published this year.

Lewis is a freshman English major from Kirksville.

Coordinated by the English honors society, Sigma Tau Delta, Inscape is a compilation of creative works by students, faculty and staff at CMU. Awards are given to the first, second, and third place winners for poetry, fiction, nonfiction, ten-minute plays, as well as photography, art, and drawings.

The editors of this year's magazine were Courtney Warford and Danielle Franklin and the faculty advisor was Dr. Kavita Hatwalkar.
