Pelley Inducted into Sigma Epsilon Pi at CMU

2015 Apr 30

Ann Pelley has been inducted in Sigma Epsilon Pi at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo.

Sigma Epsilon Pi is an honorary society providing special recognition to scholastic achievement at CMU. Membership is limited to ten percent of the senior class along with seven members of the faculty, according to Professor John Flanders, a Sigma Epsilon Pi faculty member.

Pelley is a Music Education major from Saint Peters.

The society was founded at Central in 1932, and in 1947 was organized as a local equivalent of the international honor society Phi Beta Kappa, with similar membership requirements. Alumni members of Sigma Epsilon Pi include some of the college's most distinguished graduates who have gone on to make significant contributions in a variety of disciplines.
