Striegel a Member Of CMU's Worship Band

Central Methodist University student Brooke Striegel, from Holts Summit, has been named a member of CMU's Worship Band.

The band comprises 12 instrumental and vocal students who perform for CMU's weekly student-driven, voluntary chapel services. They also perform at other events for service and faith in the area.

Having already performed half a dozen times this semester, including for CMU's Fair on the Square, the Worship Band will be singing and playing for chapel services at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25; Nov. 1, 8, 15, 29; and Dec. 6. They will also be traveling the state on several Sundays playing for other churches, including Hood United Methodist Church in Republic on Nov. 13. Other campus-based performances will include Saturday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. at CMU's Family Day, and a CMU Basketball game on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Striegel is a freshman currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Nursing degree at CMU.
