Wilken Ready To Perform As Chorale Member

Central Methodist University student Kay Wilken, from Cole Camp, has been chosen as a member of the Chorale, the touring choir from CMU's Swinney Conservatory of Music. The 28-member elite vocal group begins the semester with a performance on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 9:30 a.m., during the Linn Memorial United Methodist Church service on campus. The rest of the Chorale's first semester performances include Sunday, Oct. 9, for the Jefferson City First United Methodist Church service, joint choir concerts with the CMU Conservatory Singers on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. in Linn UM Church, and again on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 4 p.m. in Linn UMC. The Chorale's annual fall tour in churches and schools in Missouri will occur November 17-22. Wilken is a CMU junior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Music Education degree.
