Wyble Involved in the CMU Production of HONK!

Emma Wyble is playing the roles of Downy and Pinkfoot in the Little Theatre production of "HONK!" by Anthony Drewe and George Stiles at Central Methodist University in Fayette.

Wyble is a Pre-Education major from Columbia.

A heart-warming tale and a quackingly good time, HONK! is a deeply moving, creatively masterful adaptation of one of the most beloved fables of all time, Hans Christian Anderson's The Ugly Duckling. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be.

Show times November 13-14 at 10 am and 12:45 pm (elementary school matinees), November 15-16 at 1:30 pm, and November 15 at 7:30 pm.
