Band Camp 2014 at Central Methodist University drew a record 90 campers from across Missouri and from Illinois, according to CMU Prof. Skip Vandelicht, camp director. The participating musicians, all of them entering either high school or junior high this coming academic year, spent four days (July 8-11) at the university learning from experts, playing and rehearsing, and listening to music by some of Missouri's finest ensembles, Vandelicht said.

Fourteen CMU music students or recent graduates served as camp counselors for Band Camp 2014 at Central Methodist University. Camp drew a record 90 campers from across Missouri and from Illinois, according to CMU Prof. Skip Vandelicht, camp director.

The residential life staff for the 2014-15 school year at Central Methodist University has been announced by Salum Stutzer, CMU assistant dean of student development. The role of the residential life staff, which includes a hall director and at least one assistant on each floor of all residence halls, is to insure that students have a successful and positive experience in the halls.

Geofrey Bilabaye, a senior at Central Methodist University, has been selected to attend the 2014 Hesselbein Global Academy at the University of Pittsburgh, to be held July 26-29. Only 50 top students from around the world are chosen to participate each year. The students are accomplished campus leaders who have been involved in a range of campus and community programs and service-learning.
