Over 500 students from Central Methodist University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) and College of Graduate and Extended Studies (CGES) graduated in the spring.

Over 300 Central Methodist University student athletes received awards and recognition for athletic accomplishments during the 2016-17 school year.

Each academic year, Central Methodist University's Division of Health Professions recognizes students for excellence in their fields of study. For 2016-17, 37 nursing students received pins, and six nursing and athletic training students were honored with special awards.

Central Methodist University recognized just under 400 bachelor's degree recipients during its Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 13. Out of them all, however, only eight individuals completed CMU's Honors Program - receiving special recognition both before Commencement and during the ceremony.
